Delaware Substance Abuse & Drug Addiction Hotlines

Delaware Substance Abuse & Drug Addiction Hotlines

Substance addiction is a major public health problem across the United States, and Delaware’s situation reflects this national crisis. Within the state, substance abuse is a top health concern. According to CDC data, 14.73% of Delawareans have reported using illegal drugs in the past month this year. In 2021, overdose fatalities claimed 513 lives. While last year’s data is not yet available, these numbers are high for the state’s small population.

The grip of addiction is felt across the entire nation, not just in Delaware. However, help is here delaware. Below are three free resources available to Delawareans who are battling substance abuse. Addiction is recognized as a medical condition, and recovery begins with the first step toward getting help. Our goal is to make that process easier.
